I love TYR diamond back suits but have been tempted to try a Dolfin to mix things up. I have a couple Speedos that I wear (endurance, flyback one pieces), but they don't fit as well as the TYR. Speedo seems to cut smaller in the hips/bottom, larger in the top compared to TYR, which is opposite of my body type ---LOL.

Anyway, I digress. Dolfin is less expensive but how is the quality? I'm interested in polyester only. Anyone wear them and care to comment:

--Quality
---Durability
---Are they lined
---Fit
---What cut do you like the best
---How low is it cut in the back
---Any issues with riding up (bottom) or down (front)

Jen -- Thanks! I think I'll get one and add it to my suit rotation.

I'll second what Syndirelah said about the fit and coverage, I buy them specifically to save wear and tear on my more expensive suits...things like pool classes and wearing in the hot tub and sauna.

You enablers! haha, just kidding. Thanks for the reviews/recommendations.

I went ahead and ordered the Mexicali print one-piece (DBX? back) from swimoutlet. The colorful print is just the thing for the end of daylight savings and start of the tough months (dark & cold). I was going to get one of the Uglies, but I think I'll check them out at my local swim shop (they carry Dolfin). The contrasting color lining sounds a little offputting, so I'd rather see it before purchasing.

I need a new swimsuit, do you have a link for these?

I really liked the Uglies in the hippy print (lime green w/the blue design on it). Alas, it's sold out in my size.

Since I'm an early bird swimmer, a bright, cheerful suit is a must! I don't have any solid color suits. I'll have to get myself down to the swim store soon.....
