I ride my bike everyday, sometimes a lot, sometimes a little. I know that cycling shorts are the way to go for a comfortable crotch, but of course I cannot wear them everyday. I need some suggestions on regular underwear that wick away moisture and also have a thin seam on the butt. I ride a bike for a living (pedicab driver) and need a way to minimize saddle sore.

thanks

I just tried boy short underwear by Gilligan O'Malley (at Target). They're soft, stay put and don't have a seam where my bike saddle meets my butt. :) The solid colored ones are longer and more comfortable than the patterned ones. (I usually wear jeans to commute to work.)

Check the Under Armor or Champion sites.

I got a pair of Andiamo briefs at REI. They are like underwear, but have a very thin padding and can be worn under regular clothes without anyone noticing.
