that does look like fun- but I'd have to go find some tweed first.

That jacket that Mickchick wants would be perfect!
The umbrella jousting sounded fun!
Never biked in tweed, but I have skiied in "urban skiing attire", i.e. long skirt and coat, with all my co-workers around the ski trail in the large park across the street.
I'm ready :) (http://www.pearlizumi.com/product.php?mode=view&pc_id=105&product_id=1449017&outlet=)

mickchick - it's your 'wish' jacket that made me think of this! I love that jacket too...
I was browsing their photos. Interesting to note that the men tended to have much more authentic clothing...
Some of the women who were trying to ride in short, tight skirts and still preserve some dignity were kind of funny too....
I've never done anything like that, but I did a long time ago go to an outdoor ice skating rink that was offering free admission if you came dressed in a turn of the centuryish costume.

This is the photo that I saw in Momentum magazine that I loved. Nothing like cycling while smoking a pipe with a flask of brandy in your pocket: 10291
