This may be interesting to fans of Lance Armstrong - for the past couple of years he has help the 'Tour de Lance' north of Montreal at Mont Tremblant to raise money for cancer research. About 50 riders can participate - apparently everyone gets their turn riding up front with L.A. Of course, it is at a cost, as you will read below, but it is for a good cause. They have done it for the past couple of years, I guess they will repeat next year as well.

Riders will be driven to Hotel Quintessence in Mont-Tremblant where they will begin their day with an energizing pre-cycle brunch. Then, it's onto their bikes and an amazing 100 km ride through the spectacular country roads of the Laurentians. Stop for photos, grab a snack and fulfill the dream of every cyclist-to lead the peloton with seven-time Tour de France champion, Lance Armstrong. The post-ride celebration will include an exclusive and intimate team dinner.
Participants donate or commit to raising a minimum of $25,000. As soon as you register, Cedars will support you by giving you all the tools you need to raise funds and achieve your fundraising goal. We will also connect you with other riders and provide training tips.
To register, riders must submit a non-refundable registration fee of $1,500 with the Registration Form (see attached). This fee applies towards your fundraising commitment, but under the Canada Revenue Agency rules is not tax deductible (it represents 'benefits received' by each rider).
