Woohooo, after a year of searching, I finally found my new bike!! I've gotten to ride it twice now, and I'm antsy to ride it more. The only part I'm still without is the computer that goes with the Trek DuoTrap sensor (that's BUILT IN to the chainstay- sweet!) because it's new for 2010 and they're not available yet. I absolutely love the color- so sparkly in the sun- and oh, my goodness, the smoothness! Aaaahhhhh! Coming from an early-90's aluminum bike with down tube shifters, this bike is a dream. Yay!
It is a 2010 Trek Madone 4.5 WSD.

beautiful--the white handlebar tape and the white seat really set off the blue. enjoy

Sweet-looking bike...that color just "pops"! What pedals are those, if I may ask?

Thanks all! I definitely like the bold color for 2010. The 2009 was very pretty too, but the pastel blue just wasn't doing it for me.

nscrbug, I'm actually not sure on the pedals, now that you mention it...I had some picked out, but when I picked up the bike, my LBS actually told me they ran out of my original choice, and gave me the next step up that they had in stock for the same price. I was so giddy about picking up my bike that I neglected to ask for the paperwork- gah! I'll have to get to the bottom of this one! They do say Shimano 105, I'm just not sure what the exact name is. I really like them so far, but I think I'm going to need to angle one of my shoe cleats a little bit because my knee felt a little unhappy on my last ride. I think it's because my right foot naturally angles out (lots of ballet as a child...I think that's the culprit. Permanent "Turnout!") so being locked in a straight forward position is actually making my knee turn in a little. My last pedals, Shimano SPD, allowed my foot a little more "give" from side to side.
