UBI (United Bicycle Institute) in Ashland, Oregon will be offering a special Intro to Bike Maintenance mechanics course specifically for women cyclists.
Students will learn how to maintain every mechanical system on their bikes, with special emphasis given to the needs of women cyclists in the areas of bicycle fit and choosing the best women-specific bicycling products.
The new course debuts March 24, 2003. The instructor will be Margo Conover, a master mechanic, shop owner, frame builder and former elite-level racer.
