Potluck Care Packages

The silly season thread reminded me, and I thought I'd share this: Some of us moms with kids in college/service get together once a month and bring enough of one item (could be goofy, snacky, useful... not expensive) for all the kids. We get a bunch of flat-rate boxes and put one of each item brought in each box. The kids get a care package, we get fun and fellowship. A good time is had by all, and the kids enjoy seeing what each month's package brings.

That sounds like a great time! I can remember being in college and if I had $ to buy a package of Ramen noodles to eat I had life kicked in the tail lol.
