I just learned this Sunday is "Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day" (http://www.imba.com/resources/kids/index.html).
We don't have an organized event near us. But I think I may take my kids on a trail ride and celebrate on our own. Our State Park recently paved a large section of the x-country ski trails, we will probably ride there. I know it's not real mountain biking, but it's close and has a smooth surface for DS (4mos).
