Cannondale Sypnase Carbon 4

Hello girls:

Heres the story I ordered a Cannondale Sypnase Carbon 4 two months ago. They told me it would be here september 25. I called to see if it was on schedule and was told I would have to wait about three more weeks because it was in production. I live in Puerto Rico. I can't beleive this. There is a race coming up It's called "Mujeres Bravas" (Brave Girls)just for girls once a year, which is october 11. Was planning on trying it out. I'm a newbie. How frustrating. The thing is I told the distributor how was it posible that it took so much time when I've seen here in the forum that somebody already bought the new 2010. He asked me to let him know where they were so he could try and get one. Have any of you girls seen the new bike size 44cm in any store or know where it can be found?

Ah, that sucks! I'm sorry. I have a very good friend in the VI having the exact same issues. I don't know about the 2010 bike, but what she and I have discussed is that it may quicker (well maybe not for you if the bike is almost ready) to come to the CONUS and do some bike shopping in a seriously bike friendly place - call ahead. Tell them your price point and your measurements. They can get bikes in (if they are a good LBS), and that way you can try a number of bikes and pick the one that fits you best. If we are talking 44cm, it may be more difficult to convince them to get bikes in for you, but it is worth a shot. My friend on St. Thomas did that earlier this month. She had the bike shipped home, but you could take it home with you too (whichever is cheaper). She had a really hard time with this same exact thing. Good luck.

Any chance you could call some Miami shops for help? I believe that Bike Tech has 2010's in and a huge selection. If thy don't have it, they could order and ship it to you. Just a suggestion.

Sorry this won't help you much but I just wanted to let you know that when I ordered my Cannondale Synapse Carbon 4, it did take about 3 months for it to come in. When I got it, I loved it. I think you will love it too. Did you get orange or blue? So Sorry you are having the same trouble.

Well vary happy to finally say it arrived. It's great. Will try to post pictures soon. I picked the blue one. It has green. I put the cables and handlebar tape in green. It's beautiful.
