Yay! This is my first mt bike. I just got it this past Saturday. It's an 06 Giant Pistol (lol). I didn't like the color, but I got a GREAT deal on it that I couldn't pass up.
I paid $400 for it, brand new, at the LBS.
Msrp $1,100.

You don't like the color? I love it! That's why I have the Trek 7.2fx for my commuter, because it came in brown. Very pretty! Congrats.

That's a very practical color for a mtb! And looks like great fun to ride - enjoy!

Thank you all! I've only been able to ride her once so far since I got her last Saturday. I actually strained my back recently and I'm in pain so I can't ride :(:mad:

Sucks looking at her everyday and not being able to take her out! lol

I hope you get out and try her out soon! BTW: I like the color and markings, but if you don't it will all be DIRT brown after a ride anyway!

sweet deal, have fun riding. With the full suspension, you going to have lots of fun riding on it. I got my MTB this year, going off road was a totally different experience. Plus, riding on the trail and mountain ... we get much closer to the nature. Enjoy and Have fun out there. "more important, enjoy every moment of it".
