overall, everything is ok. the front entry needs quite a bit of work. we're getting a new roof. the basement is flooded, and the insurance company took everything away to dry/repack while they deal with the water down there. the house smells a bit like a wiener roast...

the dogs are still acting strange, especially the puppy.

it's been pretty stressful, but in the end it was an amazing miracle that we are not homeless. if the house wasn't brick, i don't think that i would be able to say that.
