Tonight I saw one of the dumbest things I've seen in awhile. I saw a man on a cellphone, on a bike, on a crowded MUP, with no helmet, carrying a small child in a front snugli-type carrier (also with no helmet). Grrrrr. There, now I feel better.

I'll bet he was riding on the wrong side of the road, too? What a moron.

Ugh. Endanger your own life all you want, but why a child's? Or anyone else's, for that matter.

Unbelievable! Reminds me of the guy I saw on crowded beach boardwalk in San Diego a couple of weeks ago riding a unicycle while balancing a toddler on his shoulders with one hand and carrying a scooter in the other. Maybe these guys are related.

Scary!
No kids were involved (thankfully) but yesterday I almost got hit by a guy riding the wrong way in a bike lane who was texting while holding a lit cigarette... What are these folks thinking????

Kind of reminds me of my husband's story. He used to ride his bike everywhere when he was a kid, and one day he was riding down the road, reading a comic book. He hit a mailbox or something and went flying. Next thing he knew he was looking up at his mom and aunt - laughing so hard they were peeing themselves. I guess they just happened to be driving by him when it happened.

This reminds me of my rant about smoking... smoking within 50 feet of a minor or my personal favorite smoking in a car with children. WTF are people thinking???
rant/ judge away!

"DUI BIKE DUDE"... that's what I call my peeps like that.
The guy is riding the wrong way down the road, no helmet, bike doesn't even fit, one hand on handle bars clutching a brown paper bag shaped in 6-pack sized config, other hand clenched to a tall boy brewski in a singles paper bag (yet enough showing, ya can see what it is)--chugging away... totally oblivious to drivers hostility on the jam up.
Nice:rolleyes:.
