Bears climb trees...why wouldn't it climb a ladder? It's just a more convenient tree. lol.

When we were putting our above ground pool up, we had a ladder inside and a ladder outside so we could get in and out. I was going to start filling it one evening so I took the ladder out. But then I got interrupted and didn't come back to it until the next morning. I peeked over the edge and there was a little squirrel, sitting in the puddles, with his little feet, belly and tail wet.

I guess he got in there overnight and couldn't get back out. I thought I'd put the ladder back in, and maybe he'd figure it out and climb up and out. But I barely got it over the edge before he jumped up on the ladder and over my head and out of that pool! He was just waiting for his chance and he wasn't going to wait around to see what happened next! lol.
