Mr. B.M. and I just got back from a week in Venice on Saturday night. It was so cold when we got of the 'plane at Edinburgh airport!! :eek:We were walking around in 32 & 33 centigrade all week

First thing we done on Saturday was get the road bikes out and went up'Path of Condie' I even managed the 1:6 climb without getting off.
I must be improving. :D

This is the route we done

Today I done an hour and 10 minutes on the turbo trainer (It's raining here). My son let me use his Lombardy tour DVD. It was a good work out.

I'm just getting back into cycling again as I didn't do much last year, I think that was due to my depression, which seems to be more under control now.

Roadrunner - nothing like a vacation to improve one's disposition! Hope your weather improves and you can get outside to ride.

hee--my husband and I were just commenting that our border collie is the only one in the family who is comfy right now (middle of winter), seeing as our winter is probably on par with your summer! The poor dog does suffer in the summer, though.

Oops just noticed I said I got back on Saturday eveninglol. We got back on the Friday evening.

Thanks bmccasland. It's a lovely day today but I was working this morning and have an optician appointment this afternoon. Hopefully I'll get out tomorrow though.

Chile Pepper I wish our summers were as good as your winters!! I'm sure you have better winter days than a lot of our days;) On saying that today must be somewhere near 20 Celsius, so no complaints from me today.
