I belong to a photo forum. It's great and full of professionals that give wonderful tips to people who post their photos - they are frank and harsh There is a subforum entitled "glamour and nude". Nudes can be beautiful art, and judging by the art in the "wildlife" and "landscape" threads, that's what I was expecting.
How come these guy's can't see that a gross crotch shot is not art? I'm appalled at the several page encouragement of a guy who hired two models to put vampire teeth in and wear thong bathing suits. This could be art, but is just icky.
Why can they see that a sea anemone needs a different composition, but not a partially naked girl? I've started to post a reply to some of these shots a few times, as critique is expected, but I keep stopping myself. I really don't get it.
You can only access the glamour and nude section if you become a member, but if anyone wants to see what I'm talking about - and maybe tell my I'm being ridiculous.
