Is it common for you bike fit to change? I had a pro fit done on my Lemond and it seemed comfy till the last month or so? Strange thing is I bought a Bianchi from some guy who was moving and thought I'd use it as a commuter (nice steel frame bike). It wasn't fit to me at all but for whatever reason I can ride it more comfortably than my Lemond that was custom fit to me. I am so frustrated by this. My Lemond has been giving me excruciating pain on the right side of my trapezius muscle. Bianchi makes my neck a little tired after 40 or so but no stabbing pain. So the logical next step was to compare the two bike set ups. The Bianchi has a lot more drop from the seat to the bars which seems counter intuitive to me for trapezius issues. Today I dropped all the spacers out of my Lemond and miraculously my stabbing trap pain disappeared. I think if I keep my bars where they are I will get used to the new set up and be comfy again. Have any of you had such a drammatic change like this?

Does your bike fit have a guarantee so you could go back with your complaint? :p

Have you been doing core strengthening? I slack a lot of the time and my body starts to hurt at about mile 9.....

Yup, it can change. If dropping the bars on your Lemond worked, then it's all good.

Don't worry about intuitive vs counterintuitive, just worry about what works and what doesn't! :D

Perfectly normal for it to change with time IMO.

I've been dropping spacers out of my road bike as well. Not because it hurts, but because I can get into that "better" position without it hurting now.
