Hello
I am another newb trying to get everything figured out. I have just gotten into biking even though my husband has been an avid mtb rider for years. After watching and supporting him at bike races we finally decide to purchase me a bike. I bought a Giant Arete Mtb (even though I'm only riding the greenways for now).
I love my bike, it rides awesome (minus sit pain) and I so want to ride it everyday. I've only gotten to ride it 2 times due to all the rain Atlanta was having, so I am still uncomfortable riding. I have fallen twice (yes on paved greenways) and I feel like such an idiot!!:(
How long does it take to be comfortable, not fall all the dang time, and not be so wabbly feeling? It's so frustrating riding with my husband, I can keep up with him pretty good but watching him ride one handed or no hands and taking curves so easy is killing me. I barley move my hands and the handlebars wobble.
Thanks for the help,
Lisa
