Here she is girls. (I hope so anyway) The new purple Orbea. DH drove me up to Gear Works on Friday night and they were just putting the finishing touches on. What a sweet ride.

We picked her up Friday and she has 50 miles on her already. :D The wheels are pink Velocity with purple Michelin Pro tires and the handlebar tape is purple, pink and white, all picked out by hubby. He even had them upgrade to Ultegra ten speed. It was definately worth the wait and the best part was it was a surprise since I didn't know it had come in. Gosh I luv my man!

Great bike, Jody. Now, when are we going to ride? It sounds like you will be away the same approximate time as me, so maybe you can steal away for a couple of hours sometime later in August? My husband and I are leading a ride on Sat., 8/21, if you are interested. But anytime is good for me.

For anyone interested I happen to know that four purple ones came into the country last week, okay now there are three. My hubby formed quite a network trying to find mine, even talking to the guys in Spain. I'd like to add a plug for "Gear Works" in Leominster, Mass. Gene and Darren, you guys rock!!!! :D
