Kansas City Riding/Rental

I'm planning a trip to the Kansas City area to see the Tour of Missouri and do some road riding. I am having no luck finding a shop that rents road bikes and don't feel like taking mine along.

Does anyone familiar with the Kansas City area know of a bike shop that does higher end road bike rentals?

This is a long shot, but Big Shark in St. Louis is a sponsor. Maybe they could give a referral. I know they lead a ride in conjunction with the tour.
