I wanted to review this hiking boot, as it was a HUGE surprise. The New Balance WO1500GT:

I purchased them July 4th weekend and have over thirty miles on them. I wasn't even going to try them on as they were New Balance (which is not known as a hiker), but when the store owner told me they were the Editor's Choice, I tried them on. And I have not been disappointed one bit.
They come in a medium and wide width, and although I don't have a wide foot, the wide size did fit better. They are very light weight, and extremely comfortable.
