I need to find bike shorts that offer the MOST padding available. Recommendations?:o
Hi Lacey,
Saddle comfort is an equation factoring in the shorts and the saddle. If you are seeking a remedy for soreness, examine both the saddle pain and the short pain :)
What makes you think that the padding you currently have isn't working? What makes you think you require more padding to increase your comfort?

Look into men's shorts. I find that they often offer better padding (more gel, less foam) than the women's shorts I've bought at comparable prices.

I have a pair of Pearl Izumi's that are super padded. Don't remember the model but very common in LBS.

One thing to keep in mind is that sometimes too much padding can be really painful. So if you have a puffy padded saddle already, it might only increase your pain to get super padded shorts on top of that.
Aslo- some of the best padding on shorts is not necessarily thicker...but just denser and better quality. Some of the cheaper shorts use puffy padding but it doesn't give support or do much to help.
