I just saw Lorrie on TV and she mentioned TE! ITV4 is showing a documentary about a mad Englishman who rode a tandem from Alaska to Chile with the help of random people he meets along the way. Lorrie was one of them and said she heard about it on TE. How cool! And I didn't even plan to watch this, it just happened to be randomly on after today's TdF highlights which I was watching for the only time this week because there was nothing else on worth watching.

I followed the adventures of Dominic Gill (http://www.takeaseat.org/) while he was on his journey. It was an amazing feat and his journal is thought provoking and very entertaining. The photos and videos are great. Definitely worth a look. The format of his website has changed, and has been updated, since the last time I looked. After he'd arrived at the southernmost tip of Argentina, the updates stopped and after awhile, I didn't check his site anymore. Thanks UK, for posting this. I may just read the whole thing again.

In retrospect, I wish I'd contacted him before he reached CA. It would have been fun to ride some miles on the back of that beast of a tandem named Achilles.

Maybe Lorri will post something about her ride with Dom. It was nearly three years ago!
