I am still not wanting to use clipless pedals/shoes. A few years ago I tore my ACL skiing and had knee surgery, so I am afraid of falling and re injuring my knee. It took about 2 years to recover walking/hiking any distance, and it really didn't get better until I started cycling. I just never want to go thru that again. I ride 20-25 miles 3-4 times a week.
So, after reading all the posts about using the upstroke to get more power especially in hill climbing, I think I would like to try either toe clips without straps or 'Power Grips'. These are the ones I have been looking at. I'd also appreciate any other suggestions.

Thanks All!
