View Full Version : Campy Brake Lever--right one sticks out farther?

My right (right lever when riding) brake lever sticks out forward more than my left lever. Is this normal? :p

I took a look at it and changing the cable tension does not change the lever position. Additionally, there seems to be a built in stop for the brake that makes it naturally stick out farther.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Ana - could it be that your brake is unhooked? On the photo you attached, inside the yellow circles is a pin that can be pushed one way or the other to engage/disengage the brake (to remove the wheel).

Pull the lever in as if you are braking & push the pin in & see if that works.

No, it is not normal for one lever to be put further than the other.

Good luck!
