A few more rides like that and you'll get used to the huge butt pain. Glad you enjoyed it!

Great, marta. How often do you think you can fit cycling into your weekly schedule? The more often you do it, the easier cycling becomes.

Thank you so much ladies, you encourage me! :D I can ride every day only if my painful butt lets me! I take a one day brake after 3-4 days riding. I went my usual road today the 5 miles and it was soooo hard to keep going up the hill, I thought would be easier after yesterdays ride  maybe I'm just to tired!

take a rest day - it's important to let your body recover.

You may need another saddle - I don't know what's on the bike that you have. Is your butt just generally sore because the saddle's hard, or are specific parts of it hurting?

You may also want to buy some padded bike shorts to help.

And it's really great that you kept riding after being clipped and knocked over on your 2nd time out.

Great, Marta! My friend is visiting DC (with bike) and called me from the bike path on the Wilson Bridge. Said it was great!

Sounds like you are doing great. Do not worry about walking hills. It took me a long time to climb even low hills. I hope you are having fun and I definitely agree with the advice to take a rest day.

Ditto the padded shorts and new saddle if you need one. I wasn't going to buy any foo foo bike stuff, but those two items made a huge difference.
