Watch out Vermont!

We're flying back east next week. We're spending the two weekends in Maine visiting family and going to Thom's 25th reunion. The week in between we'll be cycling Vermont's Six Gaps.

Monday we arrive in Middlebury and we're planning on riding out towards Lake Champlain - 48 miles.
Tuesday is Middlebury Gap and Brandon Gap - 58 miles.
Wednesday - Appalachian and Lincoln Gaps and we'll transfer to Waitsfield - 65 miles
Thursday - Rochester and Roxbury Gap - 64 miles

I'm really looking forward to it and hoping we bring our sunny CA weather with us.

Oh I'm so envious! I've wanted to do the six gaps for a long time.

Is it the Vermont or the New Hampshire six gaps that you have to bring flip flops (or at least cleat covers) for, because EVERYONE ends up walking up a steep incline?

I think it is Lincoln Gap in Vermont that has an unpaved very steep section.
