I found the Women's Cycling Discussion website and joined a little over a week ago. It's great to communicate with so many other women who love biking as much as I do! I feel like I have biking friends all over the country now. That's so cool!

I know how you feel! I can't wait to race in and post my really good pics! DH laughs:

Me: Gotta post pics for my "virtual friends"
DH: Is that like imaginary friends?
Me: Nope they're real!
DH: They probably don't even have bikes.....
Me: NO--they do! Want to see pictures?!

Welcome! What type of cycling do you do?

I love to ride near water. I have 2 lakes I ride near and a river. I love to watch the ducks, geese & heron when I ride. I usually ride 20 -40 miles on days I have time to ride (and the weather permits). One day I rode 101 miles in a day. I started riding on July 13, 2008, so I have an anniversary coming up. With another day or 2 or riding I'll have a total of 1600 miles in a year.

I know alot of you ride in races and in groups. I usually ride alone, just for the love of it!
