I've been looking around the web for some new jerseys and thought to myself it would be fun to wear a Maglia Rosa, a Columbia-highroad or a maillot a pois rouges. Sadly, I've discovered that women are largely ignored when it comes to these awesome jerseys. Of course I could purchase a men's jersey, but they never take into account my hips and when I buy larger sizes it's all baggy around the top.
Has anyone ever found any Grand Tour or team jerseys for women?

you're certainly right about this; they're made for men!
I have one, I hate the way it fits me.
However, TE has some brand new beautiful jerseys designed by US!
that's right, by TE members (including yours truly)
So if you're itching to buy a new jersey, buy one that fits, designed by someone you know !
:p;):cool::D

Reesha -- I used to have the Maglia Rosa jersey in female size, but I gave it away to the kids in Kansas City. Terry used to sell it.
I believe you can get it online (World Cycling? I can't remember the correct name, but I get their catalogs). Not sure if they carry ladies sizes.
You might check to see if you LBS can special order you one. My husband surprised me w/a Discovery Team jersey---in a ladies size---during that Team's final year.
Also check TwinSix---but go up one size. Nice jerseys, cool designs, well made.
My favorite jerseys are from Velogirls. I buy their new one every year (www.velogirls.com). Excellent quality, beautiful design, and unique (particularly since they are a West Coast club and I'm on the other side of the country).
I've been tempted to buy Urlea's design here at TE (the gold one with the wheels) but I've met my jersey limit for 2009.

I am with you on this one. I am in LOVE with the Zabriskie US Champion jersey and I would buy one in a heartbeat if they had one with a women's cut. sigh.

Don't know about women specific jersey - I just buy the regular team jersey/bibs kits and they fit me well so I've never questioned whether they were for men or for women... try pro cycle gear, team sales cycling, and team cyclist - they have a lot of kits maybe some are women's.

I just discovered that the Giro Donne Italia (http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/20th-giro-donne-2-1) is going on right now (that's the Women's Giro d'Italia).
Besides that fact that they all look soooo young (!!!) - they're all wearing pro kits. Cervelo Test Team. Columbia HTC. So, some of the teams we know from the guys have women's teams. If they can get a jersey, I would imagine they're available somewhere..... (maybe start at the team's website??)

I kind of want to get this one regardless of the men's sizing!!!

It bothers me that they call it UNISEX though when it is blatantly cut for a man's torso and dimensions. ugh.

That's classic cycling - men are the standard, women are other. I love when you're looking at a cycling clothing site and they have two top-level sections: "Clothing" and "Women's Clothing".

Maybe TE could start carrying some women's cut pro jerseys...
I would love a simple France jersey, preferably in wool.

Pearl Izumi did Slipstream women's jerseys last year. TE stocked them but seemed to have sold out..

I actually thought of this board when I snapped this photo at the Deathride exhibit:

I hope that pink women's garmin jersey isn't the best that garmin/PI could come up with
I mean seriously... do they really think women won't buy uber cool tour/team jerseys if they make them in women's sizes? That's just crazy!
jeesh

No PI did several variations- a full team version and then some toned down version- that pink jersey was one of the "toned down" versions.
