Hey all! I am new to this board and have recently become a triathlete! My first race was yesterday and now I'm hooked. Now I know what I need to work on for my next race which is August 29th. Does anyone have any good 6-9 week training programs that I could view? I'd like to focus more on improving my bike and definately my run, but still have an overall training effect for all three sports.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to TE lindzleoo! Congrats on your first tri! If you have a few minutes, we'd love to hear all about it in a race report so we can share your excitement. :)

Here is a sprint plan from Trifuel. I've not used the sprint plan before, but I've used their programs for half ironman and ironman races and had great success with them. It's a 12 week plan, but seeing as how you already have a base (since you raced yesterday) you could start a few weeks in to make it a 6-9 week plan.

You could also try this site (I found it very useful when first starting tris):

There are some good training plans on http://beginnertriathlete.com as well. Some are free, some you can pay for with an account.

Good luck!
