New to Mt Biking Brisbane

Hey All!! I have just started up mt biking around brisbane and I'm looking to meet some ppl who are into the sport that I can go riding with. Sad for me all my friends aren't into it lol.

I'm also from Brisbane and enjoy mountain biking. I started riding MTB a couple of years ago. Not very talented but enjoy it just the same.

Since I live close to Bunya I ride there a lot. But I also enjoy the occasional trip to Daisy Hill (mostly to take my newbie friends and my young daughter, for whom Bunya is a bit too hilly) and I ride at least semi-regularly at Gap Creek.

A girlfriend and I ride early Sunday mornings at Bunya on most weekends. And a few friends from work and I try to get to Gap Creek on Thursday arvos for a bit of fun when we can sneak away from work early.

If you ever want to hook up for one of these rides, feel free to PM. The more, the merrier! But I warn you it can turn into a bit of a ride some, stop at top of hill to catch breath, eat snakes and chat some, kind of a deal. Especially our Sunday mornings can get a bit social!:o

Oh - and it might be a good idea to register on MTBDirt.com.au. It is the local web forum and information site for MTB in SE Qld. You'll be sure to be able to find somebody that is geographically suitbale to ride with there. Lots of girls ride.
