Ooooh, Trek is making pretty bikes for 2010! I just happened to click on their site and I was actually surprised to see the 2010 lineup already!

Of course, I bought a 2009 and now I wish I had waited for the 2010's! I want the new Madone 5.1 WSD! And you can do Project 1 starting at the 5.2 level this year. I'm pretty sure you had to get into the higher end bikes for Project 1 last year. Doesn't look like pricing has gone up much, but I guess that isn't too surprising considering the state of the economy.

You can apparently buy Madones with Lance's 1247 Livestrong paint now. For a whopping $1680 upcharge!

(Yes, you got me playing with the Project One section)

Not sure I'm very keen on their latest obsession with yellow - why add yellow cables to what would otherwise be a really nice bike???

Yeah, I started playing with the Project One pages while I was at work and I couldn't stop! I was having a lot of fun! I don't think I could actually design my own bike though...too many choices and I'd be scared that I'd be disappointed. I did think it was kinda cool that there were a few color choices at no extra cost though.

Ooooohhh... the yellow and black paint scheme? I love yellow! You should NOT have told me that!!!

"No Tx Doc, you don't like it, it's a trek, you don't like trek, color doesn't matter, move on to the next thread..."

Though you can make a yellow and black one (not one identical to Lance's) with little to no upcharge using one of the more basic paint schemes from Project One.

Sorry, probably shouldn't have told you that.
