Whee, who knew such benign movements could cause soooo much pain! First my PT did a little massage/manipulation of my shoulder, then I did what seemed like really passive movements/exercises. Pulleys, some isometrics, table slides, and the dreaded wand movements. Yeouch. Ice packs never felt so good. :p

I like the ice pack with the zappy things underneath. Who knew...I like being electrocuted!

Nope, no riding until I have my full range of motion back. Right now that seems like it is years away.

Yup, been there, done that. Just do what they say. I decided to take a "short ride" complete with cervical collar. Bad pookey. What really hurt was the jarring from the road. The only good thing - cars REALLY avoided me. :D
Hey - I like your tag line "zipper neck." I got one too. Wish I would have done something about the scar, but it's 3.5 years old now. Don't even know if there is anything that CAN be done. I was too concerned with the bones in the neck to worry about the scar on the skin.

Another round of PT?
I'll quit grumbling about my uncooperative shoulders, shut-up, and do my stretches. Although there does seem to be a direct correlation between my shoulder pain and hours on the key-board.
Hope you get to feeling better soonly, and can get out there and ride. :p
