Mt Shasta anyone?

I'm from Vancouver Washington and have been looking at the Mt Shasta Rides. Anyone here completed one?

Also, a few of us did the Siskiyou Century (http://www.siskiyoucentury.com/) in Yreka a couple years back and it was excellent.

The Mt. Shasta Resort (http://www.mountshastaresort.com/golf/proto/mountshastaresort/) is a good place to stay, for either event (altho it's a bit of a drive from Mt. Shasta to Yreka), there are nice little 1 & 2-br cottages (excuuuse me, chalets :D) with kitchens.
