I know some of these are spread all over the forums, but I thought I'd start a place to store them all (I shoulda been a librarian).

I just ordered:

The Hard Ride and Pro, both are feature length documentaries by Jamie Paolinetti

Already own:

2 Seconds: French with English, female DH loses big race and self
Breaking Away
American Flyers
Quicksilver

Anybody else?

My boyfriend and I have a very small collection of DVDs (mainly DH/FR oriented):

New World Disorder 1 through to NWD5 (very funny!)
Chainsmoke 1 and 2
The Collective

Also, a NZ DVD called Addiction, and am ordering another NZ DVD called Pusher, as well as Drop In series 1 through to 3, because Drop In 4 was just filmed in NZ

This is kind of a shameless plug but I spent 2 years of my life making this film and I think it's kinda good. It's currently making the rounds at various film fests.

Go to www.100percentwoman.com

I hope you get a chance to see it.

I'm heading to the site now, to see if I can afford to order my own copy!

Namaste!

Wandered onto a really interesting shopping site, especially for those of you with a "vintage" twist :D

Head badges, art, films, etc... check it out!

You really need Tripletts of Belleville (sp?).

Watch around the action for the neat little touches - bicycle wallpaper, the Col du Femer, etc.

You all always have the best information. On another post Spazz recommended 2 seconds (love that movie, now own it).

Chelle- I am going to have to check out your movie. Many people on the forum are addicted to watching the Tour de France, I'm addicted to watching downhill racing (it could be both me and my hubby have a wicked crush on Tara Llanes). The topic of this film might be a good discussion on the forum.

I would recommend Wicked Tricks and Cunning Stunts, it's a trials video and always am awed by what Hans Rey can do.

* A Sunday in Hell - is great. It's about Paris-Roubaix in the early 1970's and follows the favourites Eddie Mercxs and Roger de Vlamick and their teams as they race from Paris to Roubaix over the legendary cobbles.

It's a real eye opener on the early days - complete with seeing the riders eating rare steaks for their breakfast on the race day, old woollen jersey's and the race being stopped by some newspaper workers demonstrating about job cuts.

* Death on a Mountain - is also good. About Britain's Tom Simpson who died on Mt Ventoux during the 1967 TdF, it's also a real eye opener on the way cyclists used to do things and the incredible stresses they face, both on the bike and off.

PS - like The Tour Baby. V. funny. :)
