OK. Technically its freeriding. And technically its a video that was made so people could drool over the rideability of the GT IT1 - a freeride bike with an internal gearbox...

BUT.. still, it's a cool video clip. It's filmed in Wellington, New Zealand, on a track called Long Gully, with some really cool camera angles and wicked riding!

You can download the video from here: http://www.vorb.org.nz/ftopict-24394.html in .mpg format.

Hope you gals enjoy the vid, and maybe we'll see some of you in NZ sometime in the future :)

Well, I tried, but all I got when I clicked the download link was a page of gobbledegook.

Hmmm. You're right.. that gobbledegook is a bit disconcerting!

If you right click on the 'download' link, and 'save target as' on your computer, it works sweet :)

So it does. Never even thought of that - must be my Mac herritage showing through.

Cheers.

That is a sweet video. I only wish I could do that! He makes mountain biking look much easier than I do!

Yeah I know. :)

It's great that there's more and more MTB tracks being built here in NZ, and people are riding them. The only thing is that their skill levels are getting so much better, and they're pushing the limits so much that it's becoming almost impossible to ride some of the tracks if you're a slow rider like me :(

At least there's always the nice walk/bike tracks around to check out the NZ scenery. I know what I'm going to be spending my summer doing
