Brand New!
As per my other saddle post, this was another saddle I bought last year during my saddle hunt. Installed on my bike for about 20 minutes on the indoor trainer, so there's no signs of usage, still in perfect shape.
I bought it on eBay for about $90 last August, I would accept $75, which includes shipping to any Canadian or continental US address :)

That's a given... in my other "saddle for sale" post, I actually made the effort to specify that both saddles are still brand new, except for the 20-minute trial I gave them to find out they weren't for me. So they're identical to any other pic you'll find on the net :)
BUT if someone is serious about purchasing them and wants to verify their prime condition, then I will make that effort to comfort their anxieties, because one can never be too careful on the internet!

Posting a pic of a saddle is going to compromise your safety on the internet?

All you have to do is take a picture of your saddle on the floor & nothing else...That's what I did when i sold my shoes..

Just don't forget to fuzz out your butt print...

It isn't just a proof-of-condition, but also a verification of what saddle you're selling. Given that masherz/bikemania (are they the same company?) sell a TRK for $80, someone might want to verify that that is the same saddle you're selling or whether you're selling a different SMP model.
Picture against the floor, or, heck, even concrete. No one will learn anything about you except maybe that you don't live in a very, very rural area.

I think the 'never be too careful' was in reference to making the person who buys the saddle comfortable that it is truly in the condition she says it's in...not that she was worried about her own safety.

Thanks GLC, finally- a LADY who thinks before she types!
(If I had known a simple "saddle for sale" post was going to get ripped to shreds by a pack of feral cats, I wouldn't have bothered... I'll manage without this forum. Thanks anyway Ladies!)

not at all. It's how you went about it.

I don't see what was so bad about someone asking for pictures.. how is anyone who doesn't know you supposed to assume anything about your for sale posts if you can't even provide a simple picture upon request?
Furthermore, anyone can BUY that same saddle brand new for less than $75 (including shipping) if they shop around. Sorry if you paid more than that for yours, but it doesn't change the fact that someone would have to be taking a pretty big gamble on yours to pay basically the same price as new retail for a used saddle (even if only briefly), since you don't seem to be willing to provide a simple photograph of it?
Yet you're the "victim"...

+1. Asking for a photo is perfectly normal. The reaction to asking for a photo was not exactly normal. I didn't see any feral cats, just normal people asking to see a photo of something they might want to buy. Gee whiz....

I agree, no one was berating you. Just asking for pic's. As I don't know anyone who would buy something on the net sight unseen.
