Whew! I'm back and tired. But I have a poster signed by Kristin Armstrong and I saw a bunch of the T-Mobile women including Ina Teutenberg and Mari Holden. Was able to talk for a while with Erin Mirabella of St. John's and meet a couple of the McGuire racers who are a northern California team. Had tons of fun and rode some of the race courses.
Petunia flirted with the US and Canadian National Champs.

I also had a really great time. The riding was great, views were awsome, and watching the Cascade Classic was icing on the cake! :D

More on Kristin Armstrong and the powerhouse women's T-Mobile team. The website isn't up to date but Kristin also won the Pan Am Time Trial in April.

In addition to testing the road riding and beer in the area, our little group continued its testing of libations just for those of you who prefer something other than beer. Again, not pointing any fingers . . . . :p

Their Lemon Drops this time of year are made from lemon-infused vodka and Petunia decided that she could get into the martini scene once she tried their White Grape Martini.

Où est-ce qu'on loue des chameaux ?Uh, just how do YOU translate this? Is there a colloquial translation that you want to share? And, can you be arrested for riding under the influence? :D

Pourquoi on voudrait-il louer un chameau?

Still don't know pourquoi, but here is eHow, assuming I am translating correctly. Isn't this internet stuff wonderful?

Now, I'm just wondering what Snap is going to do with this information. I see a picture in my head of Jo and Snap riding off into the sunset, martinis in hand, probably on their way to pick-up MomOnBike, Bikerchick68 and BetaGirl. Say, do they make camels for 5?
On a side note... those pink/black jerseys/shorts... ROCK!!!!

You never know when info on renting a camel will come in handy, thanks for the link sadie!
V - it's much safer to ride a camel after tee many martoonis than to drive.....
In honor of Bastille Day, my friends and I thought is would be handy to learn a few french phrases.
There's a corpse on the bed. Please change the sheets.
Il y a un cadavre sur le lit. S'il vous plaît, faites changer les draps.
I would very much like to meet you again when you are sober.
Je referai volontiers connaissance quand vous serez à jeun.
and my favorite:
I know I'm naked, could you just tell me how to get back to the hotel?
Je le sais bien que je suis à poil; je veux simplement savoir comment rentrer à l'hôtel.
