Like many of you I follow fatcyclist's blog. Today a small detail just got to me. He described - as a side note to other bike-related stuff - what Susan's trouble with her collarbone had been, it had broken when she turned over in bed due to the cancer weakening it from the inside. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't see her being strong enough for this to heal.
You've got to hand it to him. There's no other way I would empathize this much with what it's really like to have cancer short of living with a cancer patient myself. It's heartbreaking, and even more so for his straightforward everyday way of telling it. My heart goes out to them, and to all of you who have experienced any part of this yourselves. I feel very privileged all of a sudden.
