Hey there all,
Newbie here, I have a TREK Hybrid which I love, but I am looking into getting a road bike. A big questions since I'd be switching to clip-ins, is are there any manufacturers that offer bike shoes in a wide width?
Thanks--MJ

Sidi's Genius 5 are available in 3 widths including the "mega". If you want something a little bit less expensive, get on Sidi's website and check out the other models.
I think if you do a search of this forum you'll find lots of discussion on this topic.

Hear hear for the Sidis.
I wear an 8 wide in normal shoes and have been very happy with mine. I tried the PI shoes and no matter what I did they squeezed my feet to sleep.
I just have the cheap Sidis but if you can spring for the Genius, do it!

I have very wide (EE) feet and almost always buy men's shoes for hiking, walking, etc. Cycling shoes seem to be even narrower in general than normal shoes and I ended up buying the men's Sidi Dominator 5 Mega wide shoe and my feet are very happy now.
From what I can identify the Dominator is just the MTB version, it's basically a Genius shoe with extra cleats for easy walking.

Thank you ladies for the info about Sidis. I will check it out.
Me and my big wide feet to go with my big wide seat! I am barely 5 feet 3", I must have Hobbit genes...

Yeah, tell me all about it! I'm about 5' 3.5" and bought a pair of size 43W Sidis, to go with my XL gloves and size Large helmet. And yeah, most WSD seats are too narrow in the cutout and sitbones areas, I finally found a wide-*** model and I'm in heaven.
