Awesome :) I bought a bike bell, but my road bars are too fat to put them on. I was trying to figure out if I could use a zip tie, and I'm really not convinced. I could really use it to alert morning joggers that I'm coming up from behind.

You need something louder than a bell, those people are oblivious. :rolleyes: Even the ones without iPods - and the ones with them couldn't hear a fire truck.

My commuter came with a bell, but I put a loud squeezy horn on it pretty quick. I'm seriously coveting one of those rechargeable air horns (http://www.amazon.com/EcoBlast-Rechargeable-Signal-Air-Zound/dp/B000FHH53S/ref=sr_1_1/192-1406991-6884867?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1243422681&sr=1-1) - especially since the frame on that bike is too small for the water bottle cages to be any use for water. May as well get some use out of them. :p

Truth be told I really just like the idea of a dingy bell on my bike when I ride through the city :D
