I hope I don't have nightmares about this doll (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QO2OocOVcJo&NR=1) tonight.

The announcer is kinda creepy too.

Neither do I. In fact, I don't recognize any of the Remco toys mentioned here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remco) but I do remember the Remco name

That had a creepiness factor of 11 out of 10. Chuckie doesn't have anything on that doll or those girls. The looks on their faces when they turn thier heads back was something out of an early horror movie. <shudders>

Total CreepOutVille.

But...how can you even put that horror doll in the same category as thoughtful little Ruby?? Even the real little girls in that commercial were horrifying!

thoughtful little Ruby??

Oh, she's thoughtful alright. I think she's plotting my murder.

"Of course, we all know dolls can't really talk, and they certainly can't commit murder.... Especially a doll like TalkyTina who did talk and did commit murder, in the misty region of the Twilight Zone." -- Rod Serling's closing narration from "Living Doll"

Reminds me of a visit to the Hirshorn Museum years ago...This one exihibit that you could hear throughout the entire place. It was an audio exihibit of really horrifying clowns laughing. There were visuals, but I still HEAR it, ACK!! I went to see a Lichtenstien painting and came home with nightmares! :) Wish I could remember the artist and link it for you to share the blessed experience, not so much. ;)
