A couple of friends and I are doing this AMC multi-day ride in August. There is room for one more woman. I'm posting it here in case there is any interest. Should be an awesome time!

Lake Champlain Bicycle Adventure (room left for one female only)
Sun. August 16 thru Thursday, August 20, 2009 - A multi-day bike tour - new for the Connecticut Chapter! Join us as we bike around Lake Champlain for a flatlanders special! From Burlington, VT to Rouses Point, NY, into Canada to St. Jean Sur Richelieu, Quebec and back thru the Hero Islands. Quiet roads, picturesque villages, wonderful scenery, historic sites, scenic ferry boat rides, vineyards and a network of interconnected, international bicycle routes. Approx. 30-50 flat miles per day. Not for novice cyclists. Previous group bicycling experience requested. Valid passports required. $480 trip fee includes 4 nights lodging (motels - two/room w/private bath), 4 breakfasts, 3 dinners, 2 ferry rides, SAGwagon support, luggage transport and lots of laughs. Space limited. By e-mail send name, postal and e-mail addresses, phone and AMC membership numbers (IF an AMC member). Upon reply from leader, mail check for trip total payable to "Jeri Jaminet". This is too funny. My DH and I just tried to sign up, but were told there's only room for one woman...
It sounds like a great trip.

Yes, just one spot left for a female. Sorry you both couldn't make it in! I am really looking forward to the trip.
