Ahhh... nostalgia. Eurovision song contest :)

When I was a kid, there were only two nights a year we could stay up late: new years eve and the eurovision song contest. :D

Now it has lost a bit of its glory, but still... :D

Yesterday it was a good day for Belgium. Belgian singer Hadise became 4th (unfortunately for another country, but still we are proud of her :D )

It was the first time in many many years that it was quiete good. But we still watch... :o

As you can imagine, Norway went collectively insane last night. Plus today we celebrate our National Day so we're all a bit dizzy here... :D

The ESC is BIG here, you see. We watched it at a neighbours house, she knows the Norwegian contestant in a roundabout way and plays the violin herself, so she crammed all the neighbours into her very small livingroom to watch "Alex win". But good lord, some of the stage shows... Germany had an overstyled, overgelled dude with his shirt open ogling Dita Von Teese bending over a car... Ukraine had a very peppy girl with flowing curls and a short red dress - and 3 absurdly bronzed, hunky dancers dressed like gladiators with a show that wouldn't have out of place in a strip joint. There were a lot of kids watching this and I was sort of cringing on their behalf :D :eek:

eta: but half the fun of watching the ESC is cringing, and commenting all the weird things they wear and get up to.

Papaver - I noted in one of your other threads you mention using BioRacer brand bib shorts. I am trying to determine what size I might fit into. Could you possibly advise? I am 5'6" and approx. 137 pounds. I normally wear a size 8 in U.S.A size, I'm not that familiar with European size conversion, nor the BioRacer size. They offer from XS to XL.

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks, The size table I'm looking at uses size 2=Small, 3=Medium, 4=Large, etc. I have heard that European size/cut cycling clothes run much smaller than USA clothing.

yes that's true.

Bioracer is great stuff! I have a bibs (winter), bioracer undershirts and shirts.
