Hey, ladies!

We are the proud new owners of a used Ibis Uptube circa early 90's. She's purty!!

She's in need of some lovin' and DH is all over it. Once we can finally move the rear seatpost, we'll remove it and replace it, and he's found a site online that has all sorts of nice tandem parts. Precision Tandems. So far, we are impressed.

One thing we are looking for, if any of you can lead us in the right direction, is an Arai Threaded Drum Brake.

Any ideas for good sources of Tandem specific gear would be gratefully accepted too. :-)

Hugs and butterflies,
~T~

Hey T :D

Does this mean you'll be killing the competition on the roads even more now  ;)

HOpe you find the items you need!

Welcome to the double trouble cycling!
I love how children react when you ride on past.

Anyway Arai drum brakes are no longer made so you will have to either find one used on ebay etc or find a tandem store with stock.

Tandems East (Mel) I have heard heaps about could be a good place to start. Apparently they are a very helpful tandem store in the US.

Also you might (or DH) want to join bikeforums.net the tandems section. Unlike the other parts of this forum, the tandem section, posters are very helpful and posters such as tandemgeek and zonatandem know so much about tandems, parts etc and very offer helps of info.

To steal an often used quote- Pedal on TWOgether!
