My! What a gorgeous day today. We did about 42 miles, involving Juanita Hill, Market Hill, a couple of challenging Bellevue hills, and the 520 and Samm River Trails.
I know a lot of the rest of you must have gotten out today. Isn't it glorious? Man. Nothing like this area when spring FINALLY really arrives. :):):)

The Skagit County Bike Club's Spring Classic was Saturday. First one that I remember with SUNSHINE all day! Makes for a much more fun day!
Helped with car parking all morning, and then finally got out around noon to go ride. Did the 45 miler loop -- good hills in mine, too. Gorgeous day for a ride except for the fighting of the wind in the flats -- and there are a lot of "flats" around here. Since I was riding alone (everyone else got out earlier), I had no one to block the wind! Fighting like made to keep a 12mph pace out on the flat parts. That's a lot of work!
Great ride -- everyone should try it out one year!

We did the Skagit county classic too. It was so gorgeous on Chuckanut drive and around the lake. The wind on the flats was unreal. Trust me Jesvetmed, it didn't help much having someone to share the wind with; It seemed to be coming from several directions at once. We also struggled to maintain 12 mph on the flats on the way back. Winds and Chipseal aside, it was a wonderful ride!

Welcome to spring for real, Northwesterners!Very nice use of the apostrophe. Wouldn't want any proclamations for fake Northwesterners.
I went to a hand-dying class yesterday that was held outside so, while I didn't ride, was able to enjoy the spectacular weather . . . along with the sheeps.

Comma. :pHeh. I didn't have my glasses on. Amazing I saw it at all.
First time dye project. Bill loves the result. It's more muted than I hoped but I think it may work up nicely as a worsted weight lace scarf.

noooooooooooooooooo....................
Vancouver here. Planted a few things yesterday, they will look pretty pitiful today with all the rain, but surely it's good for them to be in the rainforest.
Nice day to kick start Bike to Work week. I think it was nicer on the first day of Bike to Work Week in November. :)

Yeah, I planted yesterday too--a bunch of woodland flowers for a little shade bed. White double anemones, orange and white epimedia, dark blue double primroses....

I posted pictures of my yarn in the "Love to Dye" group. It needs hep. I don't think it was my fault. I've been doing a lot of reading on the basic technique and I think we followed some weird hybrid that shouldn't have been applied to all types of fibers.

Washfast Prochem. You should get your invite soon. They weren't too far off in their estimate when I signed up.
You can chime in.
