I know RR lives just outside of Napier & hope none of her friends/family/colleagues have been affected by the events that have unfolded in the past couple of days. Do any of you lovely NZ ladies have friends in the area?

I believe RR lives on a farm outside of Napier.................... the friends of the policeman killed stretch far over the country :( :( he certainly appeared to be a well respected person.......

This has certainly rocked the country...........

I'm sad to say that murders & volience to humans and animals appear to becoming a every day incident in this country ;( It's certainly deterioted in the 14 years that I have lived here......

MiNZ-I received an email from RR & her family is alright. I'll wait for RR to post a bit more but she did mention that a few of her friends were in the lockdown area but modern tech kept everyone in touch.

From what RR said, the officer's death has hit the community quite hard & was well respected from my understanding.

btw...when's your big move?

that's good to know that RR is ok ............ I can only imagine what the community of Napier is going through..........

As for when we move............. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......not sure, the dates keep moving as do the location........... hoping to have clear idea by the end of this month............

But don't hold me to that !
