Hello all prayerful and healer-type sisters (and brothers) out there-

My wonderful (and reason I took the job and have lasted so long) supervisor at the brain injury rehab has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to her liver, lungs and maybe elsewhere. She has an awesome spirit and an awesome faith, and her only request - other than we don't treat her differently - is that we add her to every prayer chain we could think of.

My first thought, as I don't attend church these days, was that I had nothing to offer in that department. Then I realized that sure I do, and that this forum could get Renee global hookup! Her husband and school-age daughters can use some light, too. Thanks SO much!

She's on the list. I'm so sorry for her and her family (home and work families included). :(

Sending healing thoughts her way..... Prayers have a way of healing like no other... I was on a "global" prayer list almost 4 years ago when I got diagnosed with Inflammatory breast cancer....was given 20% chance to make it (and that was to be alive) in a year.... not cancer free.

Thankful to many prayers and healing thoughts I am now cancer free and it will be 4 years in july.

SHe will be added to all my prayer family!

Will do! What a wonderful friend you are especially for doing this even if it's not your thing. We are definitely here for you/her and others in need.

Consider it done.

May Renee and her family be free from fear and suffering, may they be happy and filled with loving kindness.

Renee and I thank you all, and from the look on her face I can tell that knowing she is supported by all this prayer is already giving her strength and peace - and healing to come. And thanks for the prayers for me - much needed as well - both for this situation AND we just discovered a return of our cat's cancer, so we'll soon be nursing a 3-legged feller back to health. sigh.

(btw, I pray often in all sorts of ways, just don't sit in the congregation right now;) )
