Hi Ladies,

We've received our first production proof of one of the selected jersey designs (Urlea's She Loves Hills). We're making a few tweaks, but this is substantially how it will look.

As you can tell from the cheesy grin I'm wearing, I'm very happy with how it came out!

Wow! That looks awesome and I'm impressed with how close it is to Urlea's original design - you haven't taken the concept and 'interpreted' it into something completely different :D

It looks fantastic!

I'm sorry if this was answered in one of the other jersey threads but I've lost track... will this be a limited-time-only run or will these become a somewhat permanent item? Cycling jerseys aren't really in my budget for the next few months, but I would really love to have one eventually...:o

I forget what the verdict was on color. Are you going to be offering these in the brighter yellow?

I love the looks of the jersey (no elastic, etc), but that green just doesn't cut it for me.
But, I'll still buy one.

I like it, but I have a question....

What's the SPF of the fabric? Those white shoulders and sleeves have little ol' fair-skinned me concerned. I think I'd prefer black or green (or whatever color the design ends up being) sleeves, both from a style sense and a sun one.

Urlea's original design was a blue/gray. The second version is this color, a bright spring green. No yellow.

Delivery is 6-8 weeks from now. We've got an initial run of 100 units coming.

Can we do pre-orders? Will you be putting them out in XXL?

Woohoo!

The jersey and you look great! Out of curiousity as to what size to order, what size are you wearing in the pic, and do you mind sharing your current bust measurement?

I definitely plan to place an order (unless it ends up being horribly expensive, any idea on cost yet, remember its advertising for TE too!). I like the color from a visibility standpoint. When will Mimi's jerseys be ready?

Pre-orders - Probably, once we're within 30 days of delivery. Credit card authorizations expire in 30 days, so it's pointless to do it earlier.

Sizes - this one is coming in XS-XXL.

I'm wearing a medium. Current bra size is 34C (though, sadly the C seems to be getting a teensy bit roomy :( )
Bust circumference is 36.5-37, depending on the day and the bra I'm wearing when measuring.

Don't have a final price yet. Will know more soon.

When will Mimi's jerseys be ready?

Around the same.

Different vendor, because we wanted to do Mimi's in plus sizes as well. That design will be available XS-4X.

:(:(:(

they're practically camouflage... I know I'm the one who keeps pointing out that drivers rear-end school buses and garbage trucks all the time... and that the woman who rear-ended the motorcycle while painting her nails, would've gone straight into a building at that T-intersection if hitting the rider hadn't woken her up... but... :(

Well I should really check the cycling thread more often! Wow!

Been so focused on the running threads w/ the marathon this weekend that I almost missed this. Thanks to Biciclista for pointing me back over here. :D

It's awesome to see the design on it's actual canvas, I'm excited!!!

Looks great Susan. The "Preview" is much appreciated!

Hi Ladies,
We've received our first production proof of one of the selected jersey designs (Urlea's She Loves Hills). We're making a few tweaks, but this is substantially how it will look.

We just had a run of jerseys made from that same vendor (judging from their logo).
I found the arms of their jersey to be rather tight, but the size was true.

Is this full zip?

This jersey is being made by Champ-Sys. We used them because the print digitally and could do al the subtle shading variations in this jersey. No waist elastic, 3/4 zip. Size seems tru to chart. Arms are fitted, but not too snug. That will vary based on your bicep size. My arms are neither skinny nor particularly muscular.

We've got 3 other design in production. One of them is full zip.

Wow, it looks great! I love the green & the white sleeves, too.

It's hard to tell from the photo - but do the sleeves have elastic in them? (please say no, please say no, please say no)

Are you going to be doing the original version in blue/gray as well? I would have to admit I liked it in that colour better. As lovely as it looks on you, green and I don't really suit each other!:)

Not right now, no. Maybe eventually, though. Depends on how well they sell.

I've heard that Champ-sys, while one of the most budget friendly options available, make stuff w/ very good cuts - snug where they need to be but not too small. Good choice!!

Susan - how much? And will TE use its normal returns policy?

And will pre-orders happen when we're inside the 30 days?
