Power output

Hi,

I was planning to purchase a Polar s720i for different reasons.. and one of them was the Power Output (left/right feature, pedaling index,...). I just realized that this is an option and it is as expensive as the s720i !!! Does not make sense! Anybody has it? Enjoy it? Is there another option?
