Spazzdog said for us others to shamelessly self promote, so I'll play!

I think I put something about this in the nutrition thread, but anyway...
I write books, healthy living whole foods, seasonal eating cookbooks.
They are fun, beginner level, easy to follow, mostly 20 minute or less type recipes. They are mostly vegan or vegetarian and happen to be mostly gluten free. I say happen to be because I just don't use a lot of ingredients that have gluten in them.
There are funny stories mixed in about how some of the recipes came to be, and illustrations by my daughter.
There are two written now, one for the fall and winter growing season, and one for the spring. Summer is in the works.
There is a two/fer sale on now, if you buy the spring book ($10) you get the fall book (normally $10) for $5.
If you want to see more about them, they are on my website here:

If you have any questions about them you can send me a message here or e-mail tamaraflanders@yourbodyawake.com
There, that's my shameless self promotion!

I teach bicycle riding, mostly to adults who never learned as children. (We also teach children and beginning road riding.) We are located in Somerville MA. The url is www.bicycleridingschool.org. It's great fun and brings joy to so many people. I feel totally privileged to be part of my students riding journeys.

I have been dubbed the "bicycle magician" by a six year old student and her mom who was also learning. It is a name that stuck.

If anyone knows folks who want to learn to ride send them our way! (We have even had a number of out of towners come and learn in intensive sessions.)

Cheers,
Hirakukibou (aka Pata)

Nice Idea, Hipmamma, I had trouble reading your website. The background is brighter than the text. You might tone it down a little so we can read it. But what a nice idea, recipes to use from your local produce.
